South Bark's training classes are offered by K8's Gr8 K9s. Our classes are fun for both ends of the leash! Classes meet one hour, once a week for six weeks. All ages of dogs and humans are welcome. These classes emphasize:

6 one hour sessions. Thru positive reinforcement, learn loose lead walking, sit, stay, come, dog to dog greeting, dog to human greeting, and how to properly socialize your dog with other dogs and humans, and much more.

Open entry, open exit. We’ll work on "house manners" to get you and your new family member started out right. Topics include: Greeting others, grooming, biting puppies, crate training and house training.

6 one hour sessions that focuses on ‘adolescent’ issues for owners of dogs between 6 months and 1 year. Learn how to coach/guide/support your dog through this difficult period. Address behavior problems such at jumping/barking, among others.

Your dog can become a canine good citizen! This class assists you and your dog to become a better team. Class fills fast. Payment secures your spot. 6 weeks of class, plus 1 additional day for the test.

A very fun class for teaching your dog to be a star. Perfect for the adolescent dog that isn't quite ready for obedience. Perfect for the dog that has mastered obience and wants more.
Teach your dog to take a bow, roll over, play the piano, dance, leap thru hoops in a single bound, and much more!

Tired of your dog not understanding what you want? In this class you will learn skills to increase the communication between you and your dog using proven learning theory. You will learn ways to teach: Attention, go to bed, stay, walk close, and other manners for the Urban Dog. Behaviors will be taught with a clicker as a marker. Several behaviors will be shaped using a clicker.

Learn the fundamentals of teaching your dog obedience for sporting activities. Your dog will try basic agility practices such as weave polls, tunnel, teeter tauter, targeting, and much more.
