
2nd Annual South Park Daytime Walkabout

This Saturday is the first annual Daytime Walkabout!! 10am-2pm – for this event there will be 2 check in stations. One at @wickedfitsd and the other at South Bark. Check in at either business for the scavenger hunt card. You’ll get a chance to win one of 3 drawing prizes (several neighborhood gift cards will be in each bag).
South Bark will be giving away swag and talking about nutrition and grooming tips. We will have specials too.

New All Ages Dog Training Class
5 consecutive Tuesdays, one hour sessions.
Thru positive reinforcement, learn loose lead walking, sit, stay, come, dog to dog greeting, dog to human greeting, and how to properly socialize your dog with other dogs and humans, and much more. Dogs must be 7 months and older.
Class dates are the following:
July 16, 23, 30, August 6, August 13

Leash Walking Class
Sunday December 8, 15, 22
9am-10am
Cost: $85
3 one hour sessions that focuses on leash walking and control. If you dread walking your dogs or you need more tips on controlling your dog on leash, then this is the class for you!
Temperament:
All dogs and ages, except those that have serious leash aggression issues.
What is taught:
Leash walking. Greeting people on leash. Strolling around the neighborhood using proper leash control.
Why should you attend:
Because you are frustrated as heck and want to be able to walk your dog on a leash.
No flexi leashes. Standard 6 foot lead required

Canine Good Citizen: Tuesday; 9am-10am
6 consecutive classes
March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15 April 22 is CGC Test date
$145 for 6 – 1hr weekly classes
9:00am-10:00am
Age: Recommended for dogs at least 1.5 years old and older
Temperament: steady and calm, however if these word don’t currently fit your dog you may take the class to train it to be steady and calm!
What is taught: Your dog is taught the skills to pass the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen ten point test as out lined here:
